New Season Excitement Modesto
Greetings Modesto Fans:
(reading time, less than it takes to slap a burger on the BBQ, pop the top of a cold one and wait to make the first flip)
Are we back in the fall groove or what? The early morning school drop offs, the post cross country or swimming pick-ups all help to give fall in Modesto a special beat and rhythm. It is time to get serious about some issues, like health care, solar development, school funding and local road construction but it is also time to have some serious fun and enjoy our city. The most fun thing about this last weekend was that the Cal Bears won their game and another one is coming Sat. There is live music and great fun, great food and parties everywhere this weekend. BBQs, fun, friends and Cocktails rule and the biggest picnic of the year is this weekend happens with the Picnic at the Pops featuring the Modesto Symphony at the Gallo Winery. The Gallo Center has launched a new season, the State is showing great films and The Turlock Community Theatre has announced their season and it is going to be fun. The kids are already planning homecoming ideas and the weekend are already filling up with things like brunches, runs and bike rides and we are all getting in the Modesto groove.
